Was I happy with the price...Ermmm, I wasn't expecting the high end price, but I don't know what technology "Wintego s" used and none of my "Local" Shops could offer the service. Sooooooo again I say "What Price Memories?"Would I use "Wintego Recovery" again. Yes if I needed to, but I now have 3, 4TB stand alone HD's all holding my precious data.

I had sent my own new Hard Drive and the data was all transfered on to it and it was returned and back with me, fully recovered, within 6 days.Was I happy with the service...Oh yes it was very professional.

I found the whole process of sending the broken Hard Drive to Wintego s and then the contact they made with me to be spot on. I was informed of what they could recover by a very detailed Email that showed what files they had found. All this was before a price was mentioned. The cost was £640 plus VAT, making a total of £768. I know, I know, that is a monster amount, but again I say What Price Memories?.

What price memories?..Priceless to me.I had nearly 20 years of photos of the family and friends and 2000+ CD's that I had stored on my Seagate Hard Drive. It failed and would not boot up. I was wounded and went to a lot of local "Computer Experts" to try and recover my memories. A few offered to have a look and couldn't guarantee that anything would be recovered and said ince they had taken the drive to pieces then no one else would be able to recover anything, and finaly one recomended "Wintego s", but warned me they wouldn't be "Cheap". But what price memories?

It's very good company recovered 95% of my lost data. But for time what was spend on it 2 days to pay for recovery over £800 pound it's to expensive.

Great service from Wintego recently. They were super-responsive to my initial enquiry and throughout my time with them, making me feel very valued as a customer. They were able to retrieve all of my photography from an irretrievably damaged external drive. My understanding is that I could have been lucky and had a simple 'retrieval'. As luck would have it my data retrieval was complicated, therefore very costly. Perhaps not such an issue for a business user but quite an issue for a private individual like me. Would I do it again, probably, although I hope I never have to! Would I recommend Wintego , definitely!

I have used this company several times now, to recover data from crashed hard drives that my Company PC's and laptops would not even recognise or boot from, and also from USB memory sticks where someone broke the contacts off the end of the circuit board inside the stick. Data Recovery from Laptop Hard Drive I was working on Word Document then suddenly screen went blank and computer crashed. The hard disk was recognised and not making any unusual noises, however it would not display any files and folders.

I wasn't sure at first as I decided to deliver what I thought was their office only to find it was a virtual office. Once home after a wasted journey we posted of the hard drive. We were then kept informed all the way to recovery.

They retrieved all my data off the broken HDD and put it all on a new HDD I sent them with the broken. I would recommend them to anyone as they did such a great job.

Disk from a NAS failed and our backup didn't restore either. Sent to Wintego s Data Recovery and got everything back. This was a mechanical failure so more complex than just missing boot sector or similar. Cost £415 so not cheap but they got everything back and destroyed the original disk.

Very good! After having a negative experience with a competitor I came to Feilds looking to cheer me up! They acted in a fast and professional way to see to my needs, supplying a cheaper quote having done what seemed like more work. They presented a file list to show what they could recover, allowing me to know for certain they did indeed have my files! From there they acted swiftly and delivered my files on a new HDD within the week. Very happy with the service, would recommend to anyone who finds themselves in a sticky situation.

I would have given 5 stars but I did feel it was a little pricey. Saying that years worth of hard work was recovered very quickly and what price can you put on that?
